As with WW1, Canada was already in WW2 up to its neck. While the US became the ‘Arsenal of Democracy’, Canada was the ‘Aerodrome of Democracy’ … at least as FDR described our key role in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
And … we declared war on the Empire of Japan a couple of days before the US!
